The “Deem”-o-crats are prepared to shove this takeover of the health care industry down our throats this weekend by any means necessary. If they get away with the “Slaughter Rule” and “deem” this passed, Obama will use this again and again until eventually, he won’t even need Congress to pass any legislation he wants. I hope I’m wrong about this.
Everyone has his price and Dennis Kucinich’s was a ride on an airplane.
This is an unretouched screenshot of Obama’s appearance on Good Morning America filling out the March Madness brackets on live TV. Of course, the real March Madness is that while FOX News actually did a tough and revealing interview with The One this week, the rest of the drive by media is still doing fluff pieces on him.
Did I miss something? When I was a kid and School House Rock came on the TV on Saturday morning with the cute little Bill who explained how he became a Law, I don’t remember seeing the part about “I’m just a Deem. Yes, I’m only a Deem…” How can the Dems (henceforth to be called the Deemocrats) change the Constitution like this? Every school kid who saw School House Rock knows how a Bill becomes Law, so why don’t the Deemocrats? Below, I included a link to the lyrics for School House Rock and ask readers to check it out and see if they can find anything about a Deem!
I’m just a bill.
Yes, I’m only a bill.
And I’m sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well, it’s a long, long journey
To the capital city.
It’s a long, long wait
While I’m sitting in committee,
But I know I’ll be a law someday
At least I hope and pray that I will,
But today I am still just a bill.
This weekend, New York Times reporter Peter Baker wrote a story about Obama’s so-called “healthcare reform” bill entitled As Health Vote Awaits, Future of a Presidency Waits, Too. It was a pretty typical rehash of all the players in the “healthcare reform” debate, but what made it really noteworthy was the photoshopped “Illustration by Nola Lopez, photograph by Damon Winter/The New York Times” (screenshot below), featuring The One against an obviously Christian religious background. You may recall in December 2007 Mike Huckabee made a Christmas message for his constituents and Joyless Behar nearly spontaneously combusted about the reflection in a bookcase of what appeared to be a Cross. This “illustration” (subliminal propaganda poster?) goes way beyond Huckabee’s innocuous little message. But I decided that if Obama wants to be God, I could do the NY Slimes one better.
